Mack Tuggle is a graduate of Alcorn University and a 25-year veteran of the accounting industry. He began his career as an accountant with Jones & Tuggle in 1985. Later, moving on to the Department of Justice where he was responsible for ensuring the department's GAAP compliance, and was a member of the management team charged with the organization's budget and financial analysis.
Prior to returning to J&T as a senior partner in 1999, he served as Controller at the Memphis Housing Authority; working closely with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to secure primary funding for special projects. His exemplary work and expertise in the areas of auditing, accounting, management and taxation continues to serve the fortunes of some of this country's top corporate, individual and non-profit organizations.
Mack holds professional licenses in the States of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Society of CPAs.
As a senior partner in the firm, he is responsible for the firm's financial and compliance audits, preparation of the firm's state and federal returns, new associate hires and maintenance and review of the company's retirement plan systems.
